Kart Shop Assistant

Ron White Racing, Located in American Canyon, CA is seeking a Kart Shop Assistant to work 2-4 days a week (M&W or Tu&TH or hybrid) 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. These hours are negotiable and could become full time! If you need a later start time, let’s talk!

Job Description & Duties

• Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the Shop (breaking down boxes, replacing tools, general clean up)
• Stock parts and tools in the shop as well as both trailers needed at Race Track Sites
• Drive and pick up parts and tools from various vendors.
• Load and unload trailers before and after races
• Disposal of Tires and other waste from the shop as needed
• Stock parts and tools in the shop as well as both trailers needed at Race Track Sites
• Assist with Parts and Tool Inventory (including labeling, documentation and organization)

Requirements

• Ability to work on an individual basis with limited direction when necessary
• Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic
• A team player who works well with other staff and is both professional and courteous
• Actively practices safety at all times
• A valid driver’s license
• Ability to routinely perform functions including bending, reaching, turning, climbing and lifting up to 35 pounds
• Basic automotive, parts department, and computer skills are a plus, but are not required.
